The Gospel

Most of us who go to church believe we're Christians. We probably are. But there's a decent chance the Christianity we're practising is a slightly edited version of the one in the Bible — and we haven't noticed.

This isn't about behaviour. What you do with your life is between you and God. This is about something earlier than that: what do you actually believe? Not what you'd say if asked. What you trust. What you fear. What you're really counting on.

I'm not the judge. I'm just someone with a Bible, a few questions, and the stubborn conviction that the real thing is better than the edited version.

I hold my views firmly and my manners loosely. Come for the argument. Stay for the humility. I'm confident in the source. Less so in myself. Either way — come and think.
